Just reflecting on the problems we face in regard to this season and what we might do on Sat with an under 25 side, (except for Browny.)

B Krak Mcguane Hall
HB Newman Schulz Hartigen
C Tambling Polo Hyde
HF Bowden Tuck Meyer
F Brown* Deledio Graham
R Pattison Coughlan Rodan
Res Howat Hughes Humm Raines Limbach & White
* :clap :clap :clap

I know folks are excited by the prospect, but I really can't see us winning too many games if we don't get Delidio out of the forward line and onto the ball a bit more. Yes we rely on him too much for someone so young, but there's no use having someone with super quick leads and a good kick in the forward line, when some of the guys coming off half back and through the middle are below average at getting the ball to our forwards.

Look at the game against Sydney at the G last year. There was one moment where Gaspar took a mark/got a free kick, and he handballed to Delidio as he ran past. Lids started to run, turned on the afterburners to shake off a defender, and kicked it about 40 metres to a running richo on the lead, laces out.

How many footballers do we have that can do that consistently? Unfortunately, we don't have 2 of him, so he could kick it to himself.

General Sir,
I think we need to protect him esp with the change of rules which is putting more and more pressure on mid fielders. His natural skill, speed and determination wd undoubtedly see him do great as a midfielder, but I just think it wd be in our long term interests to help him resist the temptation to spend his second year engaging in a mid field contest every 45 seconds?

Imagine setting up a backline to engage Richo Deledio Brown. :rofl

Fun! Time to get out the test tubes...

B. Raines Bowden Moore
HB Hartigan, McGuane, Humm
C Tambling, White, Roach
HF Deledio *smile* Meyer
F Rodan Hughes Patto
R Graham, Polo, Foley

IC Krak, Hall, Hyde, Brown*, Coughlan, Tuck, Newman(We more or less know what these guys can do)

That'll do.

I can't believe suggesting Krak play as a small defender hasn't drawn a bit of fire..not that I wd want to stir up all you Andy supporters, or is it that you are all too stunned by my brilliance. ;)

Just seen his last qr against the Hawks. Maybe he is altogether too cruisy to be a consistent performer up forward and needs to be confronted by his mistakes as a small defender inevitably is?

Regardless of how they line up I can fair dinkum see some blue sky. Considering Browny might make the trip, let's not forget that promising players are missing such as JON, Casserly, and Thursfield, will be regulars in the near future.

If we have that bloody thing called luck CC, then things might pan out that way. However, I can see JON (providing he stacks on the beef) being a very potent player in our structure. If people think they love seeing Lids, then JON will just add that magic around the ground we haven't seen for long while. ;)

As you saw last week at Club80 GPB he is certainly not little and if he does play down back he would be able to match up on just about any type of forward

Let's just hope the young lad overcomes his injury concerns, and I just want to see him on the park. We heard him say that he never really had a pre-season under his belt for various reasons, but throughtout his career so far has played so well, he caught the eye of GM. Can you imagine what a couple of seasons training under Wallace could develop?

Don't think we need to worry about his injury at this early stage GPB. How many kids come out of their first full pre-season with a couple if niggles, Bling being the perfect example. In time he will be right, and then look out.
