Now I know that tere,s a dedicated thread on acker...but last night I had a great yarn with a footy mentor who does have a great finger on the pulse of how the inner AFL works,especially player attitudes and what floats their boat.
The conclusions I come up with are these....
1.......Acker is acker....always had...always will be acker.....My point?He was no different in the halcyon years of the Liars dynasty and he is NO DIFFERENT NOW.
My mentor said that the precedent was set years ago as long as Acker walked the walk,didnt matter...the team was floggin the bombers and winning flags.......regardless of any percieved team rules.besides....what was his biggest gaff?Is he such a smart-ass?
So....
What the hell is going on at Brispain?Acker leaving the club is on a par with buckley leaving the pies,Archer leaving the roos,riccutio leaving the crows.....Richo leaving the Tigers.....
The only conclusion that I can come up with is that SOMEONE INTERNALLY AT THE CLUB HAS GOTTEN UP ACKERS NOSE AND HAS PISSED HIM OFF BIG TIME.........SO MUCH>>>>>>
To the extent that he has manufactured all this to get out of Brispain....cos.....Ill bet yas that the deal has been signed,sealed and delivered already.Now.On the dotted line.He knows where he,s playing next year,and how much he,s being paid.....mark my words.And being his own manager......Brispain cant hold him to account or ransom......
