It's very well done but I'm not sure what to make of it, or what demographic it's aimed at. Bit of a throwback to the 80's, when it was a virtue for Australiana to be seen as quaint.

However my son made me watch it about 20 times so obviously it does appeal to some ;D

To my surprise my wife thought it was excellent to because it highlighted all this skills of the game and was entertaining on repeat viewing, so it's defo having some appeal.

My wife loved it too, I think it just doesn't appeal to the grumpy hard core fanatic demographic, which lets face it is not who they are targeting with the add anyway

Good thing it wasnt written and commissioned by the Footy show crew otherwise it may have been Billy Brownless, running around in lycra, Hairy Garys Chinese friend and Shane Crawford dancing around yelling THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT

god alot of pre-enders can be miserable gits sometime. Its great: it pretty funny, and doesnt take it self too seriously. Why is it that so many peoples first reaction is to shoot something down? At best its tiresome of you; stop being killjoys, get over yourselves and lighten up.

I'm used to average ads from the AFL so in that regard it gets a pass.

And isn't that a sad fact? I thought it was ok only because the bar is so low. Bit of Dropkick Murphys never went astray. I still think that the ad lacks personality.

Get ready for a whole host of Ch 7 ads ripping off the ESPN "This is Sports centre" type promos.

I don't mind that Dreamteam ad with Daisy and Lethal.

Just OK. It's funny cause Daisy is a major powder puff who Lethal won't tolerate, in real life he would just tell him to go forth and multiply with ones self.
