A couple of months ago when Ch7 named the AFL club re. players on drugs/medical records found in street, the AFL slapped a court injunction on the media, thus stifling any more naming and shaming.
Now, back then the footy forums ran hot with names etc, but it all got closed down pretty quickly due to the legal issues. Fair enough, i dont want to start all that again.
But what i am curious about is how the long the injunction lasts? Will this come up again as an issue? Will the club be named again? And will the players' names be released?
Does anyone know more about this?
