As a ploy to remove focus from one club and a couple of their players I'm interested to know how people think the AFL should handle the drug issue in general.
I don't think their secrecy policy for the first two strikes does anyone any favours. It doesn't allow the players' club or family to lend support trying to nip a potential problem in the bud.
Considering the drugs are illegal and can possibly affect performance in a sport where a lot of money is involved I'm in favour of instant suspension and councelling for anyone who tests positive and think that is the best thing for a players personal benefit.
