What's the use of stuffing around with rules and not having the artillery to carry them out?  It's disgraceful we were held up by not having  enough footy's available to play straight on after points were scored. ;)

Are that and the shot clock rule only for pre-season or do they intend to use them for real footy too?

That 30 shot clock is a joke too. Didn't give Richo much chance to get up off the ground and prepare for his kick when he went down after the mark.

We can thank Matty Lloyd for that.

Is that the captain of the Essendon FC - what a bloody joke he is-leadership personafied.... :hihi :hihi

That stupid shot clock! How long did it take for the ball to come back before the player was hurried up. If it has to be a 30 sec clock then surely it should start form whent he player is given the ball. Not when the ball is knocked away or rushed through or even kicked down field in the event of a free kick.

As for the stupid ball rule....did anyone notice the idiot behind the goals throw the ball out when the full back wa sin the square ready to kick off with the "old" ball.

Andrew and his mates in the ivory tower are ruining our game.

What the *smile* is the AFL doing to our game?
Its becoming a game of keepings off, there arent any contests any more.
Theyre trying to do away with the CHF and then the FF as its always go go go and its becoming a game for mid size players.
Its like watching basketball as the ball is run in from the backline to the forward line uncontested by a chain of handballs.
Its total possession footy and without contests and high marking the AFL is destroying our once loved game.

I think the 30 second rule is a sensational rule.
Makes the game quicker, and we're not waiting for people who enjoy watching themselves on the big screen.
I cant believe the AFL are trying to make the game quicker.

Its been proven many injuries are due to the fact that the game is too quick as it is.

If they intend to speed up the game, will they increase the interchange bench ?

I wish the AFL would stop mucking around with the rules. The game is the best in the world, if it aint broken, dont fix it.

If the umpier blows time on what does it matter how long the player takes to kick the ball,
If it is going to be 30 sec it has to be from once time on has been blown,
