I came across something interesting.
If a club had no listed veterans, it could have 2 "nominated rookies" who could be elevated at anytime, without anyone having to go onto the LTIL. If a club had 1 listed veteran, they could have 1 "nominated rookie" who could be elevated at anytime. This was in place prior to the 2008 season. Has anyone heard of this before?..Rule 14 6 (a) and (b)
nb. This is above the "nominated rookie" who in 2009 can come onto the senior list after round 11 without any player going onto the LTIL.
I have supplied a link to AFLPA site with a pdf attachment (at the bottom) that has the full CBA.
Plenty of interesting bits. Maybe the Mods will be able to sticky it for future reference.
