I came across something interesting.
If a club had no listed veterans, it could have 2 "nominated rookies" who could be elevated at anytime, without anyone having to go onto the LTIL. If a club had 1 listed veteran, they could have 1 "nominated rookie" who could be elevated at anytime. This was in place prior to the 2008 season. Has anyone heard of this before?..Rule 14 6 (a) and (b)
nb. This is above the "nominated rookie" who in 2009 can come onto the senior list after round 11 without any player going onto the LTIL.

y6thvThis isn't so much a critiscism of your idea, but rather the rookie restriction of when they can play. I have never liked that. As an aside, a lesser known rookie fact is if you have less than 2 veterans outside of your primary list you can nominate two rookies for selection anytime.

LOL Indeed it was, it was more a mumble out the corner of my mouth as we were discussing rookies. That's my story anyway, and i am sticking to it.
