After match Function - Paddo RSL Sydney - Flea / Free / Campbell & Johnson

Free's relationship with Campbell should take them both out of the picture very quickly. Very Quickly - Campbell should never and i mean never be allowed to be head coach of this organisation - EVER.
My sources tell me Free does not want campbell as the next coach.

Which speaks well of Free. Campbell should be retained as Assistant Coach for succession planning, he's not nearly experienced enough yet.

I was lucky enough to attend the Swan's Chairman's club lunch before the game yesterday. There were about 50 RFC supporters there along with Gary March, Steven Wright and some of the Tiger Board members.

Sheedy was also present and was interviewed by the Swan's Master of Ceremonies. Sheeds made a couple of points during his interview about outgoing coaches having the professional obligation to play the kids so that the football department could make an assessment of whether they are worth keeping or not.

At half time, the Tiger brains trust was together in a group with Sheeds, while he was making a couple more points. I didn't get a chance to overhear. However, as Gary March passed me at 3/4 time, he indicated that he thought Simmo and Cuz were a good chance to be back next week.

The point I'd make about that is that I'm not too sure that they're seriously listening to Sheeds about his match committee advice

weren't they asking for $30.00 for that function? Glad I passed.

No, that was the Saturday night ‘do’. Yesterday was ‘gold coin’ donation.old coin....Passed on both anyway.Sons got more value from the public training/autograph session the day before.Hard to stifle a laugh when they audibly thanked 'Mr Sanchez' on his penmanship as Jordan McMahon. They were very impressed with Cogs,Jackson & Nahas.

couldn't agree more, in fact you could have kept going. Our tactics in last years trade and draft period make no sense if this was meant to be a rebuilding year
It would appear that it has become a rebuilding year on the back of the terrible start to the season. From comments made last year, the coach and president were expecting to play finals this year- certainly not something you would associate with a rebuilding year. Did they really expect this, or was it just spin so that supporters would buy memberships? Who knows?

The goal posts seem to have changed as the powers that be have realised we are nowhere near as good as they thought we were.

Now, if it is a rebuilding year, then hopefully they do give some of the young guys a go.

intersting view & for RFC's sake I hope they are listening.

You would think that Sheeds would have some experience in the matter compared to them ::)

Why take risks with the oldest player in the league when we're at the bottom of the ladder anyway. It makes me angry.

Exactly right Rosy!

All pre-season our club talked up our improved depth yet we've played Richo and Brown injured with catastrophic results - not to mention sending Cousins on in the last term of round 1 clearly injured!

If players are injured, give them recovery time and play a kid!
