OK so the trade week is done now i look forward to the draft and the ensuing riot that will break out as always post draft.

But once it is done and dusted and peace breaks out on PRE what are we gonna do ??

At least with the duds remaining at Punt Road for another year i will be busy over summer sharpening my knives and axes in preparation for another season of dud bashing and assassination, looks like i will be busy.

Seriously a peaceful hiatus filled with hope and expectation on PRE is somewhat strange after 6 months of savagery and difference of opinion.

With tongue planted firmly in cheek and having just returned from the Dockers chat room, perhaps we should start a pre season trade of some PRE's. Just joking, but maybe Claw goes to the Eagles, Diggler and Laff to wherever and should we trade Hall, Rayzor should follow to defend him.... :)

;D

You gotta hand it to Rayzor, geez he keeps on going against frightful odds, must dips me lid to Rayzor for that, definately a warrior for his cause no matter how futile.

I'm going to meditate and mend my shattered nerves.  What a big week it's been on PRE.

It never really quietens down that much on here actually craigybabes.  Almost time to strap your seatbelts on for draft day.  Last week was nothing compared to some trade days we've had on here.

There's the traditional meet up in the chatroom while the draftis on too.  That's usually good fun.

There's always a mountain of speculation about whether we'll get a recycled player later on or give the draft a miss.

There's new hope for a few kids as we select our rookies.

The boys are back into it later this month so hopefully the training reports will come flooding in.

Then not long after Christmas praccy games and the Pretend Cup swing into action.

Before we know it we'll be at the G for our round 1 flogging of the Blooze.

In the meantime there's always a civil war happening on the General Board.

Never a dull moment on PRE. :hihi

Craigy baby you know what will happen on draft day an the weeks after,The darkside will say we chose the wrong one,hes a dud, an look who they should of taken with pick 8,9,10,11,12,13 an The rose colored brigade will say,Gee we have done really well, lucky he was still there at that pick, love what ive seen of him.

like yesterdays trade week we wont really know for a couple of years at least.

Example Raines,Polo,Axe,Simo,P Bowdo an others had massive question marks on then 12 months a go now heading in to PRE season 07 they would be well an truly in the starting 22.Of course there are a few boys with massive question marks over there head now ,an 1 or 2 wont make it till the end of the week but there will be sucess storys again.

Im gonna keep barrackin for Richmond.Unconditionaly.
all of you....

all of you......

*smile*!*&^*smile*$.....ALL OF YOU....&%&#@#@!$

Do the same or Im gonna conjure a detonation wich will make Hiroshima look like lighting a single candle on a baby,s first birthday!

Craig...... there is more chance of permanent peace in Lebanon than here  :P

I'd reckon it will only be a matter of days before attention is turned to the RFC Board and administration.

Let's see:-

Making losses, blowing budgets Bugger
Falling membership, crowds Bugger, even David C concedes he got it wrong  :o
Lack of positive media about RFC Bugger
Damaging rumours and innuendo Bugger
No forward progress re Punt Road facilities Bugger
No negotiations for a better MCG deal Some rumblings, but have we benefitted yet?
Apparel contract Wotzup these days?

Conflicts of interest...... Possibly/maybe/perhaps. Bloody Greg Miller runs everything....... the Board, the footy dept, the finances. Recipe for disaster. Yeah, lets nail GM

Look at the evidence Bugger
March, Wallace and Wright are his yes men Bugger

Surely there is some room for a Board challenge at RFC? There always is. What about those who were going to challenge last year but vanished without trace when the crunch came. Time to rally again lads and lassies and start beating those drums loudly.

The silly season is almost here ;D

Hayfever-

Reading the threads I think the silly season is here already. Damn I hope the Ashes start soon so it gets something happening otehr than ramblings and rumblings.

Hayfever,

Should you get rid of Greg Miller, I believe the Saints have just freed up Grant Thomas and I'm lead to believe he HAS done everything. :)
