PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

There was a footy magazine in Saturday's Age.

Just thought I'd post a few bits and pieces for those who haven't read it.

Robert Walls 5 important players in 2006.  Riccuito, Reiwoldt, Ottens, B Hall, Cousins

R Walls on Richmond
After an impressive start the Tigers floundered, winning just three of their last 13 games.  That will happen with a young team and especially when their inspiration, Brown, went down with a sickening injury.  Coach Terry Wallace continues to encourage his troops to play attacking football, and that's good.  This is just the second of a five-year plan.

R Connolly on Richmond
You sense the Tigers aren't far away from making a big impression, yet it's probably still too early to eb expecting the likes of Deledio, Tambling, and last year's biggest surprise packet Tuck, to carry the burden of a club's resurgence.  Which leaves much again in the hands of two genuine superstars in Brown and Richardson.
