Did anyone else notice AK run into the goal post during Fridays nites game.
He made it wobble just as Carlton hit the same post.

At the time we thought he'd done it on purpose.

Wondering if any other posters saw the incident and if you thought it was
fair dinkum or accidental.

Funnily enough I did notice this. And maybe because, like me, it reminded you of Dustin Fletcher doing it on previous occasions, you accidentally typed Essendon instead of Carlton.

We actually passed comment on this at the time as from our angle (sitting on level one right in line with his bump) it didn't appear as though the ball hit the post at all.

Kellaway hit it (the post) at full speed whilst punching the ball from around the "out of bounds" side of the goal line, it probably should have been either a goal or touched, not a poster.   Maybe the commission can look into it?

Mind you, from the goal umpire's perspective it would have looked like it hit the post.

The charge appeared deliberate but I doubt the intent was to bend the post onto the ball.  More like "...must punch ball...must punch ball...<donk>...who put that post in the road...??"

I wondered about it when I saw it, but no one on the Carlton team said anything about it, nor did the commentators, so no one obviously thought that there was anything in it.
