Alex Rance debut?

I agree that Nathan seems" to be interested in other things. He has been so dissapointing as one of our leaders.

Rance looks like he will be a player. Wait till he puts on size and improves his kicking.

Gee i would love to play him on the wing....

He is the modern footballer.

All this glowing praise of Rance shows just how starved of success we r.

Sue he ran hard and ran straight lines but that only stood out like dogs balls because no-one else in yellow and black does it.

Give him a month under Terry and he will be crab running sideways.

Clearly football isnt the number 1 priority for Brown. Footy is just there to keep up the cash flow. Time to move on Brown and let those who really want to play for the Richmond jumper step in.

we complain about them sitting on their backside playing playstation, saying that the empty time is dangerous and they should do something like study or work.

Yet when they do this, they get knocked for not having footy as their 100% priority.

Personally I reckon Browny doing this will be a lot less intrusive than those doing MBA's or law degrees we have had in the past. Good luck to him :clap

Meh, let him grow his hair long and show him how to bomb 60m torpedoes into the forward line like our last premiership CHB >:D

Rance looks promising...however, until he starts hitting targets Im not going to get too carried away.

Did make a lot of mistakes but promising type nevertheless. Was only his 2nd game.

Very impressive first 2 games. Yeah he turned it over a bit against the Dogs, but he is a 2nd gamer and can be forgiven.

My only concern is how safe his spot is in the side. He has the build to play all season and had a full year at Coburg last year.

However where does he stand in the list of medium/small defenders.

Considering we have Thursfield, McMahon and Raines out of the side at the moment, will he hold his spot when Raines returns or if the other 2 blokes find some form?

My guess is McMahon will make his way back in for King, but will Rance get a game over Thursfield & Raines?

Is Rance purely a defender or could you see him spending time in the middle/wing?

Rance can definitely play forward, is a bit more flexible in that way than Thursfield or Raines.

I understand it was only his 2nd game, however there were questions over his skill level before the draft...possibly reason to why he dropped to us?? Just dont want to be getting my hopes up on another bloke with all the endeavour in the world but the skill level of a pretzel.

Like I said previously, he's the second coming of McGuane
