Rance stagnant? Watch a replay and see how much run and support he provides. It's a main feature of his game.

Kick properly? You need to watch a replay, he hits numerous targets under pressure despite the biased commentary. He made one poor kick when he was knackered and not expecting the ball back.

You should apply for a job as a Channel 7 commentator.
Agree BLT, I mean BCL, I have every confidence in Rance now that he will put in at every contest and once he has the ball he usually delivers well and takes the game on to the teams advantage.

The commentators were mildly irritating - pretty shallow research I reckon

Have you watched him since season 2009?
There were elements of those things in his early games - bur fair dinkim - he's becoming the genuine article now.

Mainlady may have alzheimers.

Having attended both games I was pleased that on Saturday night we showed the patience to switch back across and through defensive 50 when Collingwood had blocked all other alternatives. Against Carlton we just kicked long down the line. I'd much prefer we deny the opposition the ball and try to work some space/overlap.

He has turned into a brilliant contested mark over his head as well. Took what was once a weakness and turned it into a big strength.

One word.

Confidence thats it.

Throwing kids in and out of the side does not help to build their confidence, which i believe has also played a part in hindering Posties development, he hit packs hard and took marks and excited all and sundry in his first year.

Our CEO and fan favourite Benny Gale was all over the place when he started became one of the greatest contested marks and contributors this clubs had in a long time.

KB just said hes gonna play every week and hes gonna learn.

Impressive

First game I've got to this year snd took the kids. in between getting ice cream chocolate chips hotdogs flags face painting, kicking the footy getting drinks stopping fighting and entertaining, I saw 2 qtrs of rance up close as we were behind the goals. Then the kids wanted all that stuff too and I had to share.

Rance impressed with his one in one ability and play reading. His skills peeling off are excellent. Handling the pill and kicking are really coming along.

He's a future b&f.

An amazing turnaround from Alex. Pantsed that over-rated/over paid spud in Clarke.

Let's just keep him signed up. I don't trust WCE at all when it comes to Rance.

Mitch Clark is a big man JB good 8-10 cm taller than Alex like Hampson.

Very hard to stop blokes of that height under high balls if they actually can move and read the flight of the pill.

Alex is doing just fine weve got more worries than Alex who is growing in belief by the week now.

Fair enought. I am certainly not worried about Rance.

THought Clarke beat him in the first half.

Yeah I agree. Clarke should have kicked 3 in the first quarter.

Rance's marking in the second half was good though. It has been a long time since we have had a key defender that has taken contested marks.

Leysy was one.

Was a knocker of his marking overhead. Its come on in leaps & bounds.

Having a great start to the year.
