All Australian possibilities

Will depend on how the year pans out obviously, but right now Simmonds, Bowden and Kellaway all in strong contention for mine.

Same and I think Rainsey should go close too. Would be great if both Bowdo's made it.

With Cox out Simmo would have to be odds on for All Australian ruckman wouldn't he?

Simmo has a big test against Lade this week. Lade had one of his quietest games for the year on Saturday but still broke even with White.

Dunno about AA but with Murphy out for the rest of the year, and Thomas in the doldrums, it appears Bartram and Shaw are Raines' only rivals as far as the Rising Star of the Year is concerned at the moment. On present form he will be a very good chance - providing he doesn't kill himself with one of his kamakaze efforts !

(Has any club ever won 2 Rising Star of the Year awards in a row ?)

As much I never thought it, Petts must be there abouts if they pick HFF and not just stack the side with big forwards.

The small forward positions would be out of Brad Johnson, Didak and Petts. And Aaron Davey forget about him.

Two of these four will make it, depending on how the year pans out for all concerned.

Bowden, Kellaway maybe.  Think Simmo has it sewn up know Cox is out for six weeks.

Johnson would be a shoe in.

Koscitzke & Riewoldt, Buckley & Chris Scott.

Pearce from Port is a very strong contender. Bartram has more of a tagging-type role. Shaw gets plenty of it but that will change if Collingwood drop their bundle. If Raines' last 9 games are the equal of his first 13, he's right there.

I think Bowden, Simmons and Pettifer if all three can maintain their current form would be considered.

thats looks about right, but not holding my breath expecting them to get the recognition they deserve
