Hey he beat Riewoldt in the air. He got chopped to pieces at ground level. ;D
 
I have to buck the trend here and say that I thought Raines was playing well for us this year, and had improved as a player on last year. On a number of occasions you could see that he had learned how to side-step, and spin, instead of just trying to burst through packs; to me he also showed improved skills on last year.

I for one look forward to him being back to fitness and fighting for a place in the starting squad.

Some people are just too negative on this forum about our players.

Your absolutely spot on about Raines this year, he did really well, he will be a good inclusion when he gets back.

I have to agree, last season I witnessed a number of frustrating moments where he would be caught holding the ball after attempting to take on about five players, although of what I had seen of him this year he was improved.
