Andrew Raines - Second year blues?

As many others have said time to give him the challenge of playing in the midfield could take Tucky's spot quite easily & Tuck could go forward does quite well up there the more guys we have rotating through the middle the better.

This is just the game for Lids, Bling and Rainsey. The tempo might suit.

Yeah, probably. That and the interrupted third pre-season and subsequent knee injury.

Insane but probably true, ToO- like all the best scandals.

He had a big year last year. Fighting it out for the Rising Star award, going to Ireland etc. Later start to the pre season because of this. Would be interesting to see how Dan Pearce from Port is going this year. Haven't seen any PA matches this year. Is he having the same trouble?

Wouldn't make sense to put Rainsey in the guts if he's out of form. Best leave him where he's familiar.

Played ok tonight, just seems to be trying to find a teamate next to him or is kicking sideways. He needs to take the opposition on like he did last year to set goals up. He's also putting his teamates under too much pressure with his handballing.

He's got about 18 mates at the moment who can be included in this catagory. Really poor handballing. Stationery targets, guys who subsequently get tackled a quarter of a second later, handballing backwards, and then backwards, then backwards, then tackle, spill, goal to the doggies :(

Got about 30 possessions tonight, so at least he's finding the pill. When the rest of the team starts running with him towards goal when he gets the ball it might help his disposal.

thought his game tonight was a huge step in the right direction...

well done rainesy..... :clap

Turned the corner tonight, will only get better.

Got more of the pill but was very uncertain with disposal and got caught a hell of a lot. Way out of form.
