How come we cop teams on milestone games?
Matty Lloyds 150th this week.
Apart from us raining on SOS's parade, and winning for Campbo we seem to have a very poor track record in milestone games.
We seem to lose when it's our milestone, and lose when it's an opposition one.
I'd like to see the stats for that actually, maybe I have formed an inaccurate opinion over the years, but it seems to me milestones spell doom for Richmond more often than not.

Thought id drag this one out of the bowels of PRE and not start another thread - Chris Grant has a milestone against us this week. Breaks both Teddy Whittens and Dougy Hawkins games played this week. I must admit i really admire the guy for his professionalism and the way he goes about playing the game. Good on him but sorry chris, i hope we can do you guys over this week.

Yes well done Bulldogs after the debacle of round 1 they had already arranged the invitations for the Tigers to come to their Chris Grant Party. Couldn't have come at a better time for the dogs with the laugh a minute tigers in fine form to make sure Chris celebrates in style. Not a lot of players get to celebrate in style but the tigers will do their very best to provide a memorable one. One thing the Tigers will guarantee is that they will be thrashed as the wheels yet again have well and truly fallen of. Its hard to imagine the tigers providing anything else other than the clown entertainment ably lead by the Benny Hill dancers in the backline followed closely in the midfield by the three stooges slapstick attempt to get a clearance.

Here hear Laff.
No doubt Bozo Hall will put on his red nose and oversized boot and invite Grant to kick a bag!!
And we all marvel at ringmaster Wallace, on how he will shuffle the deckchairs of the titanic!!!

I hear the boys will be practising the official guard of honor this week at training for Chris Grant after another schellacking ala the stkilda and Nathan Burke game under our coach spud. We do it so well!!!

Typical! Is there anything else that could possibly go against us this week?

its always something

That's just it.
Who gives a crap if it's Grant's first or 300th game?
I'm sure if you tried hard enough you could find a "milestone" in every instance.
Milestone's are personal accomplishments. Team's win games.

Surely the Tigers won't be giving a flying hoot about Grant's three billionth game?
If they are then they are of weaker mind than I thought.

Get their minds on the job TW. There's a game of footy to be won.
Spoil the *smile* party. :P

Its ok in this case because im not expecting to get close. If it was a 50/50 type game then it might tip the scales the other way.

I do also believe we will pee on Scarlets parade, like we did Essendons farewell last year!
