I apologise if the news is incorrect - but here in the Harbour City at half time in the WC vs Saints telecast, the commentators discussed an AFL proposal for the 2008 Split round:

I have been able to accept the ANZAC Day cash cow, BUT
to give the Pies another massive attention focus/financial boost (individual sponsor focus) at the expense of all the other clubs is UNACCEPTABLE!
Please tell me the other clubs won't stand for this proposal!
