Pretty sloppy Claw, watch it in slow mo, the contact was way after he had any chance of spoiling. Nothing tough, cool or old school about that. Was very sloppy and careless.

Played in the 70's and 80's, definately Claw......... but Wake Up Jeff, look at what gets a citing these days and that this was overlooked is definately sloppy.

By the by, did ya notice Polo's bit of a fitty shake when on the ground (that might have been when the umpire thought "you've over acted boyo - ur getting nuthin". Agree with DD, not hard to get nick on the eyebrows with Polo's knoggin. ;D

Good on Polo though for coming back on dressed as the village idiot - always a good look ;)

Exactly. I'm all for the tough stuff, but it has to be consistently applied, which is where the Tribunal is failing even more spectacularly with every passing year. You can't rub some guys for this and not others, it absurd.

If against Collingwood, the roles are reversed and exactly the same thing happens with Polo cutting Pendlebury's eyebrow and he got 2 or 3 weeks for recklessness how infuriating would it be? That sort of inconsistency is common with the tribunal.
 
We get it rammed down our throat ad nausea that THE HEAD IS SACROSANCT!!!!

going by pervious adjudications and as mentioned earlier, the waters are definately getting muddier.
