Any news on Kevin Sheedy?

A couple months into the 07 season I saw Sheeds in the carpark of Harvey Norman at Highpoint, and I yelled out "Hey Sheeds - when are we going to see you at Tigerland". The wiley ol' fox just smiled and replied "Its been so long I've forgotten how to get there". This is fair dinkum, and I thought that his reply meant he was not planning on having any association with the RFC. A few months later, and there's story's on Sheed's "coming home". As great an ambassador that he is, I would like to see him earn some more points with the new generation of Tiger supporters. Lets see if he's still "Yellow and Black".

Can't say I've had the pleasure Gussy, will take your word for it

Ignore this poor guy's dribble willo, gustiger12 is just trying to help himself through rehab after learning of his lovechild Andy Krakouer's demise by making it sound as if others have a drinking problem.

It's water off a duck's back to me but this guy is in need of serious help.

Send him a PM in support. It's real bad and it'll take time but he'll get there hopefully. ;D

Sad part is Willo I never used to drink until I met oldie.

Then listening to him go on incessantly about Schulz was too much to take.

Hey Oldie but at least Krak did make it too 100 games. :hihi Your boy has a bit of work to do... :o 8)

Now all I need is Danny Meyers to develop into a gun and I will be on the way with my rehabilitation.

Check out photos from training day there's a link to BF, shows Schulz. (and others)he has a bit of size about him!
Hopefully he can put it to use

Sheedy returning as marketing manager is just what the doctor ordered.

He'd bring in sponsorship dollars. Sheedy is more than welcomed to home back home.

Actually he is one player I hope does step up Willow. There is a spot beckoning all he has to do is put his hand up. He is still young so there is still time, but he needs to take big steps this year.

Get back on topic.

I reckon Kev likes the odd drop of plonk. Whaddya reckon?

Maybe he could do something with Paddy's wine club..
He's certainly got the right (coloured) nose for it

Sheeds was on SEN talking to KB today and the topic was not raised about him helping in our marketing/membership area.

It seems as though he has slipped through again and apart fron the "Eureka" game with North, won't be helping in any other capacity.

Does he have something against going back to Punt Road or are our administrators not interested?

He is a once in a generation football marketing machine, why not do everything possible to get him accross?

We don't know that the club hasn't thrown everything at him, tj. At this stage of his life/career Sheeds would be looking to do whatever he wants and not just grab the best offer that floats by him. I'd say we've given him a few options and left it in his court. No need to grovel.

Fair enough hop, grovelling is not a good thing.

But he would be so valuable in terms of members and sponsors it's just not funny.

Does our board realise this?

Sometimes you wonder what goes on down there.

Sometimes I wonder what goes through our supporters heads.
Take it easy on the club, you have no idea what moves have been made to get Sheedy
If he's not interested then he's not interested, we can't force him

Didn't he suggest today he'd retired from coaching and is going to write a book?

Give it 12 months joe.
Sheed's Bumber stench is still too strong anyway.

Agree.I'm sure he will do something for the club at some stage.
