Hi Everyone

I just moved to London for the 2008 year and want to know if any Tiges are living here?
It would be good to catch up to watch the games (if and when they are shown on TV at a pub here!)

Cheers!

i live in Brum - if your ever in that neck of the woods, would be keek to catch up (depending on day and time of game obviously)

Dont know any Tiger Supporters in London, but you may want to try a small town called Richmond - I have a friend in Aust. who is from this area.

I know a bloke who lives in London..or at least in the U.K....i'll direct him to PRE and see if he hops on board. He's a pretty keen fan, although he did witness last year's Geelong game at the Dome just before he left. But he loves his footy, every year is a new year with new hope... :D

Yep there are one or two PRE'nders who reside in London.
Just bump this thread a couple of times during the week. I'm sure they'll respond.

Sign up for setanta sports RFCP, four games a week (8 and 3am!). They have replays on at the Walkabout's just make sure you check your brain in at the door. Nothing like seeing 400 people drinking snakebite to realise why they shipped us in the first place!

yup, a London Tiger here; Hampstead way if that helps. They dont show many games in pubs here (not even in the Walkabouts); but there is the odd game on. I watch most games on AFL.com, though even with mega broadband that can be flakey.

Wouldnt mind catching up with some other London Tigers to watch a match though....

For anyone in the UK, Richmond v Geelong is live on Setanta Sports 1, this Saturday at 5.00am. :clap

I'm at university at the moment up in Durham, near Newcastle and Sunderland. The family has a place down near Bedford and Milton Keynes, just 45 mins from London by train. Would be interested to hear if you found a place to watch it. pr64 happens to be 'my old man' too, so we're about lol.

The TV tonight was showing it's on Setanta Sports 1 and 2 at 5.00am, so which one it will be is anyone's guess.

I lived in London from '85-87.
Couldn't get home quick enough thinking we were only gonna be down for a couple of years and didn't want to miss the next flag.
I could've circumnatigated the universe and still wouldn't have missed anything :(

Lol! History shows you can take your time. I'm wondering about being back for the 2010 season. Reckon I might be timing it pretty well.
