bad luck, but we need to move on hopefully it allows someone else to step and fill the spot...

as wallet stated we will go hard and if we get injuries so b it.... :(

Thats true T80 but there is also a human element to football and at the moment I and I suspect most people here feel sh!t for Rodan :-\

totally agree mate im sorry if i came across as in human that was not my intention, d-rod is 1 of more favorite players and 1 that i felt had been much maligned...

Cheers T80

Armstrong on now

AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR  :( :( :( :( :(this is bad really thought Rodan was set to step up this season lets hope for a speedy full recovery..He's also my Fave player !!
well no president reports for a while from me till 2006  :(
Looking forward to seeing Dave even better in 2006  :)

I feel sorry for the guy, you can tell by looking at him that likely NO-one worked harder in the gym and in fitness than him this summer.

I'm a knee reco tragic myself so I feel for anyone when this kind of thing happens. A Hawthorn mate and I were discussing who we thought would shoot out from the pack for both of us this season. I was adamant Rodan would be the one. This sucks!

I rekon someone walked under a ladder carrying a mirror which they dropped when a black cat ran out from under the grand stand with some of the luck we have had recently. :'(

Like most here I was expecting the D-Rod to take massive steps this year.

Here's to a speedy recovery young fella. You deserve a break.

Well put. Rodan was a key player in our team last Friday and showed he was ready to go to the next level. I'm worried he'll be back at square one when he returns to fitness, and we'll be running in circles.

Curtis :(

Its very disappointing that Rodan is going to miss much of this year. Especially now he was finally been given a fair go and shown great form.

Well, I guess it's time for one of the younger players to put their hand up and make the most of their opportunity.

i feel sorry for the kid this yr was probably his last chance to prove he can cut it at afl level.
in reality though he has been a chronic underachiever we are not losing much if we lose him for the year as he hasnt had a good yr yet come on alex gilmore show us what your made of. the way some are carrying on you would think we have lost a michael voss.

Kick the kid in the guts while he,s down

Nice work claw - stick in the boot when hes down.
Rodan is still learning the game and this year had the chance to improve similar to Hyde last year.
A big preseason and fifth in the B&F for Hyde.
Lets see what Rodan can achieve over the two years when he gets back. He is still pretty young

Bad luck to David and all the best for a speedy recovery. This now opens the door for Foley who can fight for a roving possy if he's good enough. Let's hope he takes it with both hands coz he definately has a good footy brain and knows how to find the footy.

Funny that you should go for the cheap shot after disapprovig of Pickett's violence.

For shame, Claw.

That's below the belt santa.  Dave is one of our players who's busted his gut for the past few months in hopes of lifting the club out of the doldrums.  Michael Voss or not it's sad to see anyone struck down by an injury that ends his season before it began.
If you don't have any sympathy for a kid who's dream is shattered then surely you're concerned that it leaves us another player short on our already depleted list.

Claw, only have 4 words for you, YOU ARE A DISGRACE.
