Richo12, It wasn't even worth starting this topic....archie why we picked him is anyones guess and gilmour *smile* house attitude...I say no more!
Astute Tiger each to their own I liked Archie!!
Gilmour was a goose and didnt have his head screwed on right hopefully will be a lesson to other up and coming players!! However he had big wraps so I was just wondering if he has started to actually dominate any competitions or even show he is a decne tplayer from his form from U18's!!!

Kyle Archibald is playing here in the NT for Southern Districts - which is Richie Tambling's old club and currently the home of Daryl White.
Archie has had a stellar season playing mostly CHF. His team won their prelim final yesterday against Wanderers to earn a rematch against Waratahs in the GF. Of course, they don;t stand a chance against the mighty Tahs!

I liked Archie, he was a muscley player that looked good.
Gilmour was too focused on his education, an astute student at the School of David Schwartz, he didn't have time to focus on AFL.

Over the summer, when ABC2 used to show the NTFL, he used to pop up occasionally.
I liked him when he played for Coburg - he needed a year or two more though and
Richmond (let alone Coburg) couldn't afford that.

He played at West Adelaide with other Richmond rejects like Ben Hollands, Marc Dragacevic, Daniel Donati, Ben Marsh, Paddy Steinfort etc. Surprisingly, with all of those guns, they finished bottom last year!
I saw him play last year and he looked lazy, slow, uninterested and not up to SANFL league standard, let alone AFL.

Thought some may like to know that Archie's team, Southern Districts, won a tight Grand Final against Waratahs last week. Archie played a stellar game at CHF kicking 5 goals and winning th medal for best on ground. He was very impressive and his kicking for goal and strong marking were features. Played out of his skin and capped a very good NTFL season with a belter when it mattered.
