Everyone seems to think our spot is the only vunerable one.I'm not so sure syd and collingwood are starting to wobble a bit.
collingwood getting flogged at the moment by the saints and sydney already flogged by adelaide.
This makes it so much more important we beat the teams directly above melb,st kilda syd, and dogs. If we make the 8 this year we deserve it, horror draw early and a horror next 4 weeks.

Swans played the side that is best in the comp by a long shot so no discrace.  Collingwood getting shown out, dont think they are as good as their supporters keep telling us.  Thing is both have fairly easy run homes, so cant see them missing out.  Even if they were to only win 3 of last 8 To get pushed out would require that Richmond win 5 out of 8 and one of Fremantle to win 6 out of 8, Geelong to win 7 out of 8, Port Adelaide to win 7 out of 8.  It just aint gonna happen.

had a look their draw no worse than ours, but if they drop a few more may give us a chance to leapfrog one of them or both.

Collingwood had the easiest draw ever in the history of the AFL. Pretty sure they play Carlton, Essendon, Hawthorn and the Kangaroos again.

Only have to play 2 of top 8 sides twice (West Coast & Adelaide).  They have the easiest draw in the league.

Looks like Mickey Maltmouse is back to his bad ways in the press conferences........... :rofl :rofl :rofl

Seems to really feel the heat ol Mickey Mouse when his teams is struggling, maybe he can see some unsettling signs with his mob that worry him.

Doesnt matter tho with their draw they are shoe ins for the 8. Thats if they can win a couple, i reckon 9th would be a great result for them ;)

Sydney will probably be okay, but the Wobbles seem to have struck early. They'll still make finals, but will hopefully be out in straight sets.

Please explain TF - what has the mouse been up to now?

Coming home from the 'burgers game I was on a tram with some senior Collingwood supporters and fair dinkum they still think they will make  the Grand final  :o   Nothing like being optimistic  :help

sydney ARE in strife...if they lose to the WCE in perth they've lost 4 from the last five.

Then they play us.

3 factors.

1. Coming back from Subi.
2. One less recovery day than us
3. They'll be under more pressure than us to win. (their home game & poor recent record)

He got ultra narky when queried about Tarrant.  He was red in the face and getting real defensive.  "I'm not going to bag the players - I'm the coach" or words to that effect..... ha ha >:D

memories back to Bummer Thompson/Ottens press conference. :hihi

Sydney will be well and truly ok for the eight I reckon...I do suspect however, that every side Collingwood play for the rest of the year will go in with a strong whiff of victory...the Pie's will become the hunted. They have a pretty soft, vulnerable list IMO.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of Carlton and the Roo's really serving it up to them. Essendon? Probably expecting too much for them to be even vaguely competitive. :hihi
