Still no reports on the game at Punt Road on Friday at 4pm.

Was there any one who played well or put their hand up. Wouldnt be too hard to get a game this week after the seniors poor performance.

I just want a few players to stand up and be accountable when it matters.

Will still be sticking with the boys but Richmond show some heart.

Play the youngsters and show a little bit of a future for us, I'm willing to take some more pain for a liitle while, I know we have a lot of youngsters and it will take some time.

GO TIGERS!!

Lids & Raines were the 2 positives. The end.
P Bowden also played ok for 85% of the game - made a couple of errors in the remaining 15% - plus - Newman had a real crack.

The rest will have trouble looking TW in the eye - then again TW wasn't at his coaching best either so he might have trouble looking GM in the eye.

Time to get down to hard work and start believing in our own ability - or else we may as well fold, merge or just plain drop off the face of the earth. I like the idea of hard work and belief.........

Oh there is another positive from the weekend -

Blood_17 backed a winner for the PRE Punters Club which puts us well in front.

Way to go Blood_17....................

the one positive i can think of is that we know exactly where we're at. we don't need to kid ourselves...

Has anyone heard how the game went?

It would be better to ask about the game on the Coburg board. Some posters there might be more likely to have gone.

Nathan Brown was about the only positive.

He is back and did well. Not to the form of last year, but hopefully not far off.

Raines was a positive for mine. I've always thought he was a nice type, but I am particularly pleased that he was able to do a good defensive job on Robert Murphy in the midst of the slaughter going on around him. I had a doubt whether he could keep up with that type, but he did and competed well in the air also.

Lids was a positive.

Brown was a positive.

As an aside I am worried we will never see the best of Cogs again. The 2003 version was destined to be an absolute star of the competition IMO, despite only average kicking skills. I was hoping this year he would have the explosion and power back that enabled him in those day to burst clear of packs. Didn't see it on Friday, though he did a reasonable job tagging Cooney who was the only Dog not to have a blinder.

Chris Newmans contest (hit) for the ball with Brad Johnson in the first quarter that left Johnson worse off (for a while anyway).

Newy showed he's tough and wont take a backward step when the hard ball is there to be won. Maybe he should take a T@FE class on this and teach a few of his team-mates.......... ;)

My life doesn't seem so bad after all :-\ ... now there's a positive :P

Are we kidding ourselves? We lost by 115 points and people are saying 'how about this guy' and 'that guy was good'. I'll give you a tip - when you lose by that much there aren't ANY POSITIVES!

Even if Lids and Raines played well they were subjected - like the countless promising players before them - to a shocking display by people wearing Richmond jumpers. This type of performance can poison a club for a long time. I for one have had enough of Wallace's antics.

RYAN GRIFFEN IS BAGGING US!!!

Isn't anybody else angry as hell, because I am!!!!
