Some may believe that our trade objective is to acquire players from other clubs. Others may believe that the objective is to achieve value from players who will be coming off our list. This may result in a combination of both objectives.
I believed that the latter was our objective at this trade session, ie, to get value out of players such as Morrison, Archibald & Hilton, and a step up from that, possibly Tivendale and/or one ot two others.
By the end of today the trade week will be more than half over. And yet we still see nothing of this objective being achieved. Would we be satisfied with a 2nd round draft choice for Tivers? I would. A 3rd round choice for either or all of Morrison, Archibald & Hilton.
Are we going to run out of time to do these necessary deals?
Maybe it's just my anxiety, but I would feel alot better if we at least get one of these deals on the board.
