0-9 would suggest on paper that we are shocking.However just like sides on paper things dont appear as they seem.
This season we have been in a chance to win in 7 of the 9 games yet for one reason or another we are yet to open our account.
Are we really that bad if you take in the following considerations:
We havnt had our best player in Brown
Same applys to Simmonds
We have had token contributations who in different senerio,s would have been dropped
ettifer,Tuck,Krakour & Johnson[Broken bone].
Players who to a lesser extent but have gone backwards this year:Raines
Thats 7 players that the side has to fill the gaps in or carry and yet we still in all the games bar 2.
We have played the reigning premiers,Runners up,finalists x3,Plus Geelong who most regard as a finalist.
All in this time we have introduced King,Edwards,Jack and given game time to Hughes,Mcguane,Jackson,Howat,Jon and promising Cubs yet to debut in Casserly,Conners & Collins.
We stil have holes to fill however i believe our future is not as bleak as what some think IMO.
