I know this may upset a few.
I'm just going on a bit from Redford's topic.
Being Campbo's last game i thought Richo wasnt fired up enough. Too much chit chat. A few times he could have gone in a just taken out his opponent or any opponent that was in his way.
I know thats not in his makeup and it hard to teach an old dog new tricks but Wallace has kurbed his desire to play on this year and why cant he be taught with his frame , if a player is there to be hit, HIT.
lOOK that last kick out of the sqaure, conditions being what they were, after Simmo's great goal, Richo what about playing in front. Ling took an easy mark. Where was his opponent. The forward line should have been left OPEN.
WE ARE TAUGHT FROM YOUNG, PLAY IN FRONT. conditions such as they were , windy you PLAY IN FRONT........
i HOPE i havent upset many here. Remember i'm not the type to be too critical with our players. I'm even at times quite relunctant to get caught in conversations with who to delist , trade, whatever. I know what changes i would like but i wait till Miller and Wallace decide what is required .
Also i am a big fan of Richo. He has matured as a player but sometimes i wonder about his intesnsity levels. To me this game was his for the taking for his best mate Campbo to win it for him. Arm in arm they walked out but the despair of how close they came to winning and in Campbo's last game was written on the former captains face.
I heard also that Campbo's best mate Daffy spoke to the players.
Does anyone know of this , what he spoke about and if true?
Thanks
