Suprised no-one has mentioned this, but Wallace has gone to WA to ask Prescott to be an assistant coach...

"Richmond coach Terry Wallace has invited former Richmond and Fremantle midfielder Ashley Prescott to join him as an assistant next year.

Prescott, who is coach of Claremont in the WAFL and a tutor with the Clontarf Football Academy, met Wallace in Perth 10 days ago to discuss a role with the Tigers as a development coach and senior coach of Richmond's VFL affiliate, Coburg."

Andy Collins has just been announced as the coach for Coburg.

I think you will find it was discussed on another thread earlier in the week
, I just can't remember which one it was though. :help

Hopefully has made some good contacts in the WAFL colts that'll give us more insight to future junior prospects for the national drafts.

While he is over there may as well see if he can track down Wayne Hernaman see what he can offer. Although, I can see where Wallace is coming from he wants to get former Richmond champions back involved the problems is the champions are now to old and the last 25 years has produced to many duds.

I think Ash was a little bit better than Wayne Hernaman?? and why would you bring up this bloke's name?

I wonder if Ash will be a full time coach or will need to find other work too?

Thanks, Rosy-posy.

My new secretary found it while I was opening my last bottle of "Purple Cow" in honour of Andy's birfday.

I must have had a senor's moment [that's Spanish for a mature male] - or, as Andy would put it, a "garden" moment.  I did see it but when Jinxy posted the above, I thought it was deja vu, which seems to be happening to me a lot lately.  a lot lately.  [that was just a short d.v.]  You ever have one of those Groundhog Days that just won't go away?

I don't know what that is but it sounds deadly.  I had a glass of water in her honour.  Had it in a wine glass though.  Geez health kicks can be boring at times. :help

Ah, Purple Cow, well may ye mock, all you non-believers.

One of my more precocious kinder spent a recent weekend in the 'Maine and, of course, I had to show her the sights. So, after the traffic-light viewing, what else does one do but visit The Cellar?

Here one can find such little delights as Purple Cow, Cab-Merlot, v = 2004, bottled in the Riverina, $5.95. Now, I ask, who wouldn't buy a bottle or three?

[do you think red wine can induce deja vu?]
