No different that the contestants on the biggest loser.

Not sure if it's just cos the heat has scrambled my brain but I need a translation for that comment diggles.

I am no big fan of Tivendale's and think the only reason he is on our list is due to the fact no other club was interested in him during trade week. He can count himself very lucky to be on our list.

My thoughts are that he bulked up too much and lost some of his pace. Should he regain that lost pace, he may improve. In 2001/02 he did play some good games.

I hope for his sake, he has a red hot go and prove some people like myself wrong.

Best of luck to Tivers in 2006

It's great that he's putting in the work, Tucky did the same thing last year. The disposal needs a hell of a lot of work, though and his decision making.

No matter how fit Tivers is if you have no heart and no brains all the training is in vein!

After reading this thread, I've realised that it is time for Tivvers' President to come out and defend him. I must apologise for my tardiness, but I have been overseas and the French keyboads make me feel like I'm typing with a Rubik's Cube at times!

Greg has obviously been working hard in the off-season, and realises that his 2005 season was not his best. There has already been one thread concerning the size of his biceps. I feel it necessary to remind my fellow posters that Tivvers was a rookie listed player for us, and is not a highly paid player down at Punt Road.

While it mat be true that he has been given a greater amount of time to prove his worth than some other players, it cannot be said that he has drained the club of funds, and he has indeed given his best when our great club was at its weakest.

Keep in mind that if I was not Gregs president for 2006 on PRE I would most likely be not defending him in this way, but this is the benefit of this program. I, along with a small coterie, believe that Tivvers will return to form in 2006, and wish him the best of luck.

Good luck Greg for 2006. :gotigers

Well put mate, we all hope that Tivva does well because it benefits everyone.
I do not know about your comments about the finanacial burden because at the start he looked like he was going to be a real good footballer for the club and Richmond is pretty good at giving lucrative contracts to people that do not kick on. For example Nick Daffy, but that has changed too.
But if he was on peanuts they would have got rid of him. They have been trying to offload him to another club for two years and no one will take him probably because of the hefty price tag that comes with him.
Maybe i should Gregs president!
