At War with the AFL

Love how Peggy’s given Gil the Dill the old “I’d be concerned if that was my organisation” tut, tut, tut. It’s probably after that knob lectured her about being concerned about our club’s off field behaviour.
Ha, ha, love Peggy. Too smart for that silver spoon. One day he won’t hold the gun and the stink will be revealed.

Don't know if this belongs here.

Maybe a new thread titled "City Hall" or "GilQuarters" where we can bag, vent and discuss the ineptitude of aforementioned governing body.
Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
Most clubs (I assume this is correct) were wearing Indigenous guernseys this round.
We didn't so I assume neither did the Bombres?
Then next week Dreamtime at the (anywhere but the G) Darwin/Perth.
We wear the indigenous guernseys.

If GilQuarters had any brains wouldn't Dreamtime be better served as the marque match of Indigenous Round?
No common sense.

Make rules on the run, have umpires butcher interpretations, Tribunal inequities, etc, etc.
Lop sided free kick counts for Teams they have vendettas against.
(yes I know we won the count yesterday---not very often that is the case)
Have home sides wear away guernseys and vice versa.
Crazy stuff from City Hall.
Disenfranchising fans, making football hard to watch.

And yet as far as they are concerned the game is great and everyone's happy.
Just crazy.
Rant over.

Maybe we should keep it at two rounds. Everybody loves the indigenous round. Why not expand?
