ATT: Channel 7

Foxtel win never soley hold the TV rights for footy.

While I agree channel 7 absoulutely suck with their coverage. Tim Watson has to be the worst commenator ever.

I guess channel 7 spent all their money on gaining the tv rights and thats why they could only afford the commentary crew they have. If you pay peanuts you'll only attract monkeys. Excactly whats happened here.

Could anyone help me understand how Channel 7 can show a Melbourne game, into Melbourne, when there is a Melbourne team playing interstate? Wasn't it not so long ago that the AFL said they would minimise just this happening, to help boost gate receipts to the clubs against people staying at home watching the game on tellie, by showing the interstate game?

What is going on?
