Interesting to see the "Victorian Teams" in attendances lead by the Tigers up to round 4. The order is:
Richmond ave 65208,
Bummers 51793,
Melbourne 43197 and,
Collingwood 41407,
West Coast are 2nd with 52318,
Carlton next with 41064.
Bearing in mind we were 4 zip at this point shows our support. Imagine what a couple of wins in the next few weeks will do! :clap

I think they've made an error with their calculations. Figures after Round 5 are:

Cb Avg
----------
Co 55849
Es 55702
Ca 48057
Ri 46510
WC 42678
Sy 38506
St 37655

Ha 29577

Richmond's highest averages after 5 rounds:

Year Avg W-L
------------------
1998 49984 3-2
1982 49559 4-1
2002 46638 2-3
2007 46510 0-5
1981 46195 4-1
2001 45929 4-1
1999 45381 2-3
1972 42703 4-1
2006 41758 2-3
1977 40079 3-2

It would be interesting if the Anzac Day "freebee crowds" were replaced with a standard home and away crowd for an Ess vs. Coll game.

70K instead of 90K would bring them both back to an average of 51K.

Doesn't look right to me L2R2. Think we are closer to 41000 after R5

Maybe Bill. I used the AFL website to source the figures, assuming their figures would be the most reliable. It has our crowds at 59847, 37985, 70569, 36521 & 27326. Could be wrong though, I don't do a head count at the game.  ;)

The AFL website also shows total attendance for 5 rounds at 205222. On that basis the fault lies with the AFL or Telstra which in hindsight is where my presumption of error should have been targeted in the very beginning, my sincere apologies.

No offence taken whatsoever. :)
