its been happening for the last few years been able to recruit players like browny , a stable board , recruited some of the best talent going around, finaly paying some good honest footy and winning games getting kb and sheeds back, devolpment of punt road ,haveing the legend richo be 2 votes away from winning brownlow, being in the media for all the right reasons , more paid members and of course cousins

before cousins the giant's whiskers were twicthing its eyes openend when the chimp made he's way for the first time onto the hallowed turf we call punt road , sniffed the air when richo nearly snagged the brownlow , a big grin on its face when it seen some of he's old freinds come home

but on Tuesday the 16th of Decemeber at 10:14 am it stood up let out a mighty roar!!!

Have to agree with you Hutstar.

Ben is a fantastic acquisition to the club - no doubt about it. He will bring attributes to the club, both on and off the field.

The one disappointing thing that I'm getting over this whole situation, is that the majority of our supporters feel that Ben is going to be the difference, and that he will get all the plaudits if the Tigers have a great season.

What we seem to forget is that we have a good list of players on our books that are developing quickly - this was shown in last years inprovements - in particular our second half of the year.

Let's not forget the rest of the gang - a gang that will include some stars of the future as Richmond slowly makes it's way up that ladder.

Look at all the publicity we are getting with the drafting of Ben.
Im sure theres a lot of sponsors out there wishing they had come on board before we drafted him. *smile* Smith has been everywhere in the papers on TV theyd be loving the exposure.

Just what I was thinking btoz. Whilst I am sick of hearing about Ben I think what is happening at Tigerland is very "Judda$$esque" and it is brilliant! The huge Cuz benefit IMO is the mass of positive momentum that this is all creating for the club, I mean who would have thought that there was the potential for thousands of people to head to Punt Rd to watch a training session in the middle of December?
