new MCG seats
i would just like to pass comment on the new MCG. a lot of the people on PRE are in the new olympic stand this year and would have sat in their new seats for the first time last night. my seats are in section N53 (i was the feral who was tearing my hair out in the second quarter after all those missed set shots
)
anyway, first of all i wanna give the big thumbs up :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup for my new "A" reserve new seats. they're very confortable and the positioning is great. but i don't believe they are any better than my old seats in the southern stand last year ("B" reserve).
there is a beautiful spacious bar and dining room near my section. i was very disappointed that the bar sold only midstrength beer in plastic cups, and the dining room area was for the corporates (can someone please correct me if i'm wrong?). in addition, i'm a little disappointed there is no cover from rain or sun on a saturday arvo.
for as long as i am a member on this forum, i will be forever bagged for saying this, but in regards to facilities and convenience, telstra dome wins hands down. no contest. there is nothing at the MCG that comes close to the livewire section at the dome.
