barring we make and win the GF, Im hoping we start off scratchy and come home full sails in the final rounds. Lowly finish on the ladder but strong finish on the ground. get rid of the dead wood and get some good younguns from the superdraft and hit the 07 season all guns blazing.

Tambling and Meyer to come on.
Bowny to take his time coming back and be good and ready for '07.
Shutlz to make his mark as a KPP.
Smokey of the Year - Dean Polo

if only...

One of the young big guys to make a huge leap:

Patto, Limbach, Shultz, McGuane.... any of these guys.

Re: What would be our perfect season next year?

Undefeated, flag, brownlow, Norm Smith, Coleman and Pies, Bummers and Blues finish bottom three

I would like to see the kids really kick on this season, also like to see the team super competitive & fight every game out until the final siren. Not overly worried about ladder position this year, yet expect big improvement in the following seasons to come.

More competitive. No more spankings like we had from St K, Melb Geelong etc.
Channel Tom getting the TV rights.

As Tommy Hafey once said if you dont finish first you may as well finish last.

Who am i to argue with the great man so if no premiership which there is as much chance of that then Osama converting to Catholicism , i say finish bottom and go nuts in the superdraft. ;D

I dont care bout results in 06 in fact i wont worry how many wins or losses as long as the kids get a better go.

Be the club that causes the sacking of M. Malthouse, K. Sheedy and D. Pagan - there is always a place at Punt Road for 2 of those guys.

Bury the Swans by playing an attractive brand of football.

Seeing most of the guys under 23 really kick on.

It won't be perfect, but NYT may just be happy.

Phantom take a bow you have hit the nail on the head.  And don't worry ToO if this happens the profits will come thick and fast.  They will be coming out of the woodwork.

And as Rexy says, "The yellow and black faithfull will be swinging from the rafters at the MCG" screaming

"Yellow and Black"

The MCG will Rock once more. :clap

The flag would be a miracle. Barring that I would be ecstatic to see us make the finals and finish as the top Victorian team in the competition.

Until we can beat the likes of St Kilda and Geelong we will not be considered a top side. The other Vic sides are like us.......... battling. :(
