This is where the Tigers need to get some good PR people onto this.

This is Richmond taking a leap of faith in the idea that someone who falls over can pick themselves up again. But this is not a one way street. Cousins has not been provided with a guarantee to play again but the opportunity to repay the club's faith. If he stuffs it up, Richmond will not accept being made out to be the bad guy.

5 yr contract. First of it's kind, will continue even if he retires in respect to his messiah status. If he retires in that 5 years he will serve the remainder of the time as our running and Yarra diving...err...swimming...coach.

But Benny won't be saving the enviroment, one Visy milk carton at a time. You cannot put a price on that sort of contribution to society (well at least according to the AFL).

You know what your a "tool" even if he does not and fails, the RFC and everyone associated had a crack for our benefit, if it fails well at least one of the rookies will get a fair dinkum crack at the list.

I understand where you concerns come from...but such comments is like your resigned to him failing...stay positive rock up tomorrow show him you care and have faith to extend him your respect, if he lets us down, he has blown it for himself, life will go on withour him....but at least the RFC has finally had a stellar year at drafting!!
