Beatson earns Crows' recruiting job

FORMER Brisbane recruiting manager Kinnear Beatson has been appointed Adelaide's Victorian recruiting officer.
Beatson left the Lions last year after 12 seasons with the Queensland-based club.
He will start his new role as Adelaide's fulltime recruiting officer in Victoria next month, the Crows said.
Beatson joined Brisbane in 1994 as Victorian office manager, took on the Lions' top recruiting job in 1997-98 and was based in Melbourne. – AAP
I don't know if much has been said about this but I think that the Tigers should have persued Beatson. He did a great job at the Lions. I guess money was the problem for us. The Crows certainly know how to take care of the off-field side of things.
