The Paul McCartney gig was outstanding. If you can get there tonight - suggest you do.

Thanks tim. Too many early Beatles and not enough Wings and 80s for me. But thats just me, I'm a Stones man, don't mind late Beatles but I love Wings. I knew he'd play Mr Kite, Ob La De and St Peppers, he loves his English marching band vibe. (not saying thats bad, I don't mind it, its unique and funny, few Wings tracks with that vibe too). I'm sure it was a great gig, would have liked more Jet, Coming Up, Take it Away, Say say say, Temporary Secretary, Goodnight Tonight (great ender).

Went last night and loved it. Snake, jet, live and let die and band on the run we’re all grouse. Also loved the stories, albeit a bit contrived. Sharing a cab with Keef and mick in London and handing over their first number as a favor (I wanna be your man)

I’d rather stick needles in my eyes and ears than see or listen to Paul McCartney.

can't buy it. Man is a legend. I'd bet money I could pick out 5 tracks that would meet anyone's approval. I was a big fan when I was a kid, then pretty much ignored him for 30 year, and I've getting back into him recently, particularly wings and 80s. A lot of great tracks in there. The man is a rock superstar. To be clear, I'm not criticising his show, he has something for everyone, and just because he didn't play more of the stuff I like, others would still have loved it.

Just like the other 3. Seems to have a bit of Dorian Gray about him. Never ages.

Thanks Tim, amazing 40 songs at his age.

There’s a great clip on YouTube with Billy Joel an Sir Paul playing the final gig at Shea stadium and the lead up to Sir Paul getting there.

Went to A Day in the Green with Marcia Hines, Sister Sledge, Village People and KC and the sunshine band.

The Village People cancelled. So the the other 3 stretched out their act by just stretching out their songs to make up for it.

Disappointing night.

Ageless beauty is Marcia Hines. I still like some of her 70s songs. I'd say most of the crowd like Can't Stop The Music by the VP?
