He's number 32 - jumpers on sale in AFL shop already !

I went to the knox afl shop after work to check out stuff to buy as xmas presents. The first thing that caught my attention was a Tigers jumper, with 'Cousins' in gold lettering, with the number 32. I thought gees that was quick work. Closer inspection revealed that it was originally number 1, but they peeled that off :) . Another thing that caught my attention, all the jumpers were displayed with a front view, except 2. Up top, was the Cousins Tigers top, next to it, the carlton number 5 with Judd on it. Can't wait for round 1, and it seems neither can the afl ;D

Richmond Tigers waste no time giving Ben Cousins the number 32 jumper

TIGER cub Daniel Trembath can't wait to lay eyes on his new favourite player - Brownlow medallist Ben Cousins.

The Richmond fan, 6, yesterday snapped up the first in what is tipped to be a mountain of No. 32 jumpers sold at the club's Punt Rd headquarters in coming days.

Cousins will wear the No. 32 jumper vacated by retiring Tiger Greg Tivendale.

The famous No. 9 he wore during a glittering 238-game career at the West Coast was unavailable - it had been snapped up by emerging young gun Trent Cotchin.

The Richmond faithful are salivating at the prospect of a midfield boasting the likes of Cousins, Cotchin, Brett Deledio, Nathan Foley, Mark Coughlan and former skipper Kane Johnson.
