Ben Cousins will be our best onballer since Geoff Raines.

With all due respect to Raines, Cuzz will be the best onballer since Ian Stewart, KB and Maurice Rioli.

but none of them will reach the dizzying heights of Chimp Kazoo

Maurice Rioli stands head and shoulders above any since Stewart. Cuz hasnt played a game for the tiges so far but I'm confident that he will be in the mix. Chimp, well he will have his time I'm sure - only a matter of time.

As I have no life I will be watching the 2002 RFC v WC later.

Judd's 7th game, Kerr's second year, if our young players come on and we still have Cuz when they do, it could be very exciting times.

I still don't expect finals next year but it is tantalizing to think about.

no hes been one of wce best onballers. we will be lucky at 31 and two yrs out of the game if hes a shadow of himself. sheesh the hype and expectations surrounding this bloke are unbelievable. sheesh one transgression between now and april and he may not even play a game for us.

all true claw, but it's not like we wasted a pick on him. We got him with the last eligible pick any team could have gotten him with.

While I still doubt he'll be the messiah that some him pencilled in as, I think for what we sacrificed to get him, he is worth the pick. There's a good chance whoever we would have got in the PSD instead of him wouldn't have played a decent game in 2 or 3 years time anyway.

Nope but by then he will have already brought in about an extra 5000 members at least, so its already worth it.

Thats my fear actually. Rapt to have ben on board and he will take so much pressure off Foley and Lids but at 31, still going through his rehab and out of the game for 2 yrs, will he get anywhere near his best? Probably doubtful. In saying that, maybe he doesn't have to be. Cousins at 70% is still good enough to play AFL. And with the PR and support he and the RFC has got so far, maybe its already paid off.

Indeed. You would think we have recruited Judd. If he has half the impact of say Foley for a few years, we will be very lucky.
He will be at best a handy pickup, not the defining pickup that Brown was, for instance.
