Just watching the Geel v Melb replay

Chapman Mooney G Ablett
Hawkins N Ablett Varcoe/Ottens

Geelong would have the most damaging forward line or at least up and coming!!!

Good forwardline on paper but will they perfrom when it matters?Ottens won't but maybe the others will.

They have another talented forward coming this year under the father-son rule too.

Gonna be a big one Nathan Ablett and Tom Hawkins are shaping up to be guns along with maybe 2 of the best small fowards in the league in G ablett and Chapman!!! Scary stuff!!

The Ottens one is a joke as much as I hate the guy having the worst defender couldnt be that tough he is no longer an AA and not worthy of being a star or 2 draft pcks but without the hype he is a contributing player he no longer is the star he was at the tigers early this century!!!!

Pettifer Richo Brown
Kingsley Schulz Krak/Patto

On paper and fit our fwd line looks solid too!!! :-[ :-[

3 out of those 6 have and are capable of kicking 50 in a year hoping Schulz turns into one of those!! On paper it aint half bad!!!

Terry's predictions of 16 goals a game is still a massive struggle for us.

Brown & either Riewoldt/Kingsley would sure help get towards that goal.

We must find more avenues to goal but *smile* a decent midfield would help a lot in this area. :P

Kingsley will help Coburg.

Blurton  Evans (the birdman)   Edwards (the eagle)
Wigney        Jurica                    Sampson

...now that was a fwd line....special mentions to Bourke, Powell, Azza James, Hudson, Plapp, ben hollands, (van) morrison.....list could go for days.

Fit starting fwd line would pretty much look like this and what each players respective capable target woulfd be:

Pettifer (40) Richo (50) Brown (45)
Kingsley (40) Schulz (40) Krak (25)

Thats a realistic target for each player for the season at their position Id hope for more out of Krak but so far 1.0 goal a game is what he roughly avg's that amounts to 240 for the year and bout 11 goals a game purely from the starting 6 fwds its pretty much only a an avg of 2 per game across the fwd line. On paper it aint lookin too difficult and we also havnt had that structure into place yet. With that line up i think we will be effective KK has the ability to produce same with Brown noth having not played which frees up Schulz and Richo!! and Effectively Krak and Petts!!!!

You might be right about Kinglsey,I would think he will kick around 40 goals for Coburg.

Haha all you Coburg lovers!!!! ::) ::)

KK is great on the lead and has soft hands!! He will avg at least 2 a gamefor us this year when he is on the park!

Ottens :vomit

He is a living Joke.

Geez, now ur sounding like Smorgon............

Good luck Otto I say - bitterness carries you no where. If he can make a fist of his career outside of RFC then good on him. It's not the 20th century.................

OH, and our fwd line will be ordinary while Richo continues to dominate it.

It is not only his hands that are soft.Good luck with Coburg kent.

The fact that Geelong could so easily delist a player like Kingsley and Richmond so readily recruit him says a lot about both the philosophy of Wallace and Miller and where we are at as a club. One Club is aspiring to a premiership, the other to mediocrity and hoping to hold it's place somewhere mid-table. It's just depressing the latter happens to be Richmond (still I agree with the others Coburg must be pleased).

KK was recruited to put pressure on, as far as i see him taking a spot of Hughes or JR maybe it will help maybe they dont deserve a game or will put their head down if KK is in Coburg because JR or CLever are playing 1's and well im happy!! If KK is dominating 2's Id want to see him in the one's if the young ones are pulling their weight i can see the rationale but I dont think I would have chosen that path but have faith in Miller and Wallace!!

Could reverse that with Geelong trading for Otto considering his mediocre performance and his off-field indiscretions. ;)

Not half bad with JR still to come.............the real problem is getting the ball down there to the adavantage of these blokes!!! If the delivery is right this could be a really potent forward line, if it's not they might struggle .....like any forward line with poor delivery
