PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Before I get shot down by the Richo lovers out there, let me kick off by saying that I am a fan of the big lug.. busts a gut every week and bleeds yellow and black..

But...

Richo for too long has been granted the right to try and be the 'go to guy' in this side. When he's in the side, the guys must feel that if he demands the ball, they must give it (partly for fear of an animated Richo spray if they don't) :).

Personally, I liked the look of us without Richo out there demanding that every play comes through him. Last night we had to find other options and other guys I'm sure felt like they HAD to lift in his absence (Jack Riewoldt for one - something that we've all been waiting for)

He's too good to play out the year at Coburg. He'd be kicking cricket scores most weeks. I say camp him in the goal square and let him use his big frame to create a target that allows Morton, Nahas et al to crumb off him in the event that he is beaten overhead.
