Biased draw over past four years...

Just looking at my tips for this week and the recent history of some of the match-ups when I came across this.

St.Kilda and Geelong have played each other 8 times in the past four seasons.
Footscray and Carlton have played each other 4 times in the past four seasons.

Something really needs to be done about these inconsistencies.

Agree that the draw is biased but its only a symptom of the virulent virus that is plaguing our game - greed for money

I don't think the AFL care about the biased draw, only we, the fans of the down trodden clubs, do.
The AFL is a corperation that is only concerned about numbers.

Do away with the WhizFizz or NABCD cup or whatever they call it.
The draw will only be equal when every side plays each other twice. Made up of 30 rounds including a break of 2 weeks after round 15.

Especially when we play our home game against the Kangas at TD (and it's a twilight match too ).

To long a season, if your arse is dragging 0 / 9 and a half would you really want another twenty weeks?
Keep the NAB cup with a fifteen game season split halfway by a genuine state of origin series over a couple of weeks with the junior carnival as lead up games to the state of origin.
