Richmond's 1948 brownlow medallist was tonight inducted into the Hall of Fame. Congratulations to the family as he passed away in 1960.

:clap

Well done Bill, heard a lot of great stories about you, and great to see that rewarded with this honour.

Something to make the Tigers proud.

This is the good news story of the week.

Bill Morris played in the '42 & '44 GFs but missed out on the '43 premiership.

His demise in 1960, aged 38, is tragic story.
The reasons for I only learnt 3 or 4 years ago.

Can you fill us in on the circumstances of his death?

No, it isn't a nice story at all.
And there's still someone alive who was an indirect party to it.

I'll let that one pass.

I found this interesting piece about Bill Morris on the net.
