Just a few snippets of pre-season info

  • Riewoldt has lost weight
  • Lids, Patto and Tambo have put on 5 kgs each
  • Foley isn't really injured as such. His knees are always sore but he manages it
  • Rumours about Danny having a hip problem have some foundation. Not sure how serious it is or if it will affect him playing though.
  • Browny looks to be back to his best.
  • Cotchin is almost ready
  • Cogs is very close. He's moving well.
  • Rance looks ready
  • Gourdis is very quick but no stamina. The coaches weren't impressed with him coming last in the tan run and he's doing extra sessions now.
  • Simmo is ready to go. Leaner, faster, stronger.
  • Skills at training look very good until we play a game
  • We've been looking at a few under 16 kids. A couple very impressive but I won't mention their club in case it isn't public knowledge.
  • I'm proud to say, as his Proud President, that Mitch is a very nice bloke and more importantly is very professional about everything.
  • Whitey is going well after his earlier ankle injury.
  • I won't mention names but one of our talls has been pretty lazy so far. Hope he pulls his finger out and has a good season.
