Brief Report on the Ballarat Black Tie Night. 6/2/06

The Ballarat tigers Supporters Group ran this night, with 50 Supporters and the Tigers Leadership Group.
*smile*, Richo, Sugar, Brownie plus Sponsored Players Bowdo and Shultz and Head Coach TW. players rotated thru the Tables during the night and everyone had the chance to spend valuable time with each one.

Over $5000 raised during the night in a close and intimate setting of Ballarats Red Lion Hotel, Food was sponsored by Wilsons Fruit and Veg, and Alcohol by CUB, so all profits were given direct to the Tiges.

Speeches,
TW spoke of the need to play for Now, the Senior playing group is deep enough that only the Kids who work hard will get senior opportunities. The empowerment of the Leadership Group. He spoke about Lids and the desire to watch him play at his peak, the difficulties that bling overcame to even play senior Footy in 2005.

Sugar,
New initiatives being formulated by the Senior Leadrship Group, such as the Young Leadership Group. the differences between Adelaide and RFC initially and the huge improvements made by RFC. Desire to give the suffering supporters some long term pleasure.

Brownie
The level of intensity at training and skills improvement.

Gas/Richo/Bowdo/Sarge
Spoke about the recruits of 2005 and 2006.

Spoke to Sarge about Internet Tiger Fan-Sites, he doesn't read them but his father does, He reads the Training Pages and gives Jay some stick if he mucks up. Mr Shultz, If you are reading this, Jay is a Great Kid, Speaks Well and you must be Proud of his achievements. Tw regards him highly and has high expectation in 2006
