I posted during last year's trade period that I had heard then we were interested. He has some ties to Richmond in that he trained with us as a 17 year old the year before he was drafted and as I recall he was interviewed by Nathan Foley for the website pre draft that year and said he hoped to come to Richmond.

Pace and running ability. Exactly what we need imo.

Richmond supporter as a kid. Very good mates with Scully.

Yes we need that outside pace and running ability. Can be a good finisher too.
 
I still firmly believe Scully will come to RFC once his 5 years is up at GWS and will be in his prime.
 
Yeah once that contract is up Scully can afford to play for Upwey TAcoma if he chooses. He could pay to play. If he wants to come to us, bring it on. Meanwhile we should get Blease.

doubt it - if GWS treat him well then there is such a thing as loyalty, particularly if he is the captain by that stage.
 
I would love to have blease on our list also would rather be throwing what we can at ben Reid
rather then cloke! Reid would be way better value the cloke!!

This is great news. Increases our chances of getting him.
However I won't be at all surprised if he's already 'agreed to terms' with GWS some time ago.

My list - 2 or more of these:

2012: Caddy, Blease, Chaplin
2013: Hoskin-Elliot (a must have), Gorringe, Gaff, Greene, Sidebottom

At some point we need to go after a big fish - we've got enough tiddlers.
 
Josh Toy looks set to leave the Suns.

Don't know what to make of Toy. Would have gone top 2 in His draft year. He has looked pretty average so far.
