Any interest in Luke McPharlin?

Out of contract, and has not yet resigned with the Dockers.

Only has one or at best two seasons in him. So he would be a no for me.

From a guy at the office today, from a relatively reliable source...

Apparently Cloke signed or agreed to sign with the tiges on the 27th of July. Not sure how true it is but would be possible

I personally can't stand him & doubt it's true. Makes for interesting talk at least

I thought with restricted free agency Collingwood had to have the opportunity to match the contract before signing?

It is still consistent.

A Restricted FA can't take an offer to his club until the Free Agency period begins. Then they decide if they are going to match it. Nothing is official until then.

I suppose he can come to an agreement with another club beforehand and then his manager can tell any other interested clubs that he is going to reject their offers at any stage duirng the process as long as he doesn't sign anything in contravention of any rules that the AFL might make up on the run, in which case nothing happened and nobody knows nuffin about nuffin.

There are so many rumours on Cloke it's making my head spin.

Personally I expect him to stay at Collingwood or if he goes elsewhere it will be to the highest bidder which I don't expect to be us. Imo the only chance we would have is if his relationship breaks down with the Pies so badly that he leaves for that reason rather than money.

The way he's been playing there'd be no surprise if Scumwood were happy to wave goodbye and free up the cap space for their own free agent selection.
It's not often Eddie n Scumwood get caught out behind the pack.

Nathan Lovett-Murray

Is 29 been sub most of the year maybe 2 old to think about but is an unrestricted free agent anyone think he is worth a mature rookie spot or on main list still seems to be in good shape might give hard edge to forwards or pinch hit in the middle?

No way.

Chris Knights at Adelaide would be a good punt. He could be that damaging HFF we are looking -can also add to midfield depth. For whatever reason, doesn't seem to be getting a fair shake at the Crows.

Good Eastern lad.

I wouldn't pay much for him. He misses a lot of footy through injury.
