Blair's Boys - 2012 Trade Week Targets

Chris Knights from the Crows worth a look too.

25 yrs skilled goal kicking midfielder would add some polish to the middle.

I havent seen much of him..how come he isnt getting a game?

From what I have seen of pearce and i know im gonna get shot down here..but get him down to tigerland. Brilliant link up player, would flourish on the G as an outside midfielder, can play that mop up quarterback role in the backline, is a good user, and people are gonna say his soft but he isnt actually soft unlike grigg. We need these experienced outside mids. He also is a free agent so we wouldnt have to give up anything.
Definitely worth a look. I threw up his name a while ago.

Seems to get regularly injured. A pass for mine.

i thought of him when the 1st free agency lists were going around at the start of the year, but he hasnt been able to get much of a go at the crows and when he has he has looked pretty average.

Critical to our list

We need 1 more top level Mid cotch, lids level
We need 1 monster backman A grader
We need a CHF A grader ( Cameron please)

Griff could be one of the above
Post , astbury may be servicable, but they will not lead a defense or forward line ever.

Shame we don't have three picks in the top 10 then. Seriously, how many inside/outside speedy goalkicking mids do you think a good team has? I agree more would be nice but saying we desperatley need 3 more is ridiculous.

;D

Well basically what I'm saying is 3 more well rounded classy midfielders.

We have 3-5. I would put Martin, Deledio, Cotchin and to a lesser extent Tuck and Foley in that group. They can pretty much all play stints up forward. Foley more of a run and carry type of goal kicker though.

3 quality mid/forwards would make a massive massive difference to our team.

Something like Rockliff, Barlow and Dahlhaus.
And that would have required PSD pick 6, Rookie 8 and Rookie 22.

Keep fighting the good fight brother Leysy.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the great work you two have been doing for such a long long time in advocating getting mature players with late picks.

I don't know about critical. My view is that if we had these 3 we would go close to winning a premiership. Certainly top 4.

But we can dream.

That might even be a conservative figure, I think we really need to consider a team without the chronically injured Foley and an ageing Tuck.

I can't see how we could play Cloke and Riewoldt in the same forward line.

I do agree though that we need to find some forwards.

Ian Richardson at Claremont would be worth a go IMO. So would Tom Lee. Both would be available PSD or rookie I would reckon.
